Ongoing community involvemenT

As a family-owned and operated company and a conscientious corporate citizen,

Central Bernard nurtures operative and community values. Giving back to the community is part of our corporate mission and we actively support charitable, sports and volunteer groups involved in promoting such values.

Over the years, we have supported a number of community initiatives and we are proud to have brought comfort to those who are less fortunate by participating generously to food banks and special drives.

Safety tips

Safe manipulation of poultry products from the store to your family's table. Central Bernard spares no effort to provide the marketplace with safe, traceable poultry products. The following tips will help you safely take our fresh products from the supermarket to your family’s table.

When shopping, wait until the last moment before taking chicken products from the refrigerated counter and check-out promptly. Chicken should never be left out of the cold for any extended period of time. Make sure the product is fresh (check expiry date) and that packaging is well sealed. Beware of pack leakage as it can contaminate other items. As soon as you get home, place your chicken in the refrigerator (bottom shelf) and cook promptly to enjoy maximum freshness. You may also freeze unused portions of fresh chicken. Frozen chicken must be thawed slowly. It is best to let it rest overnight in the refrigerator.
